John Edward Stasky Memorial
John Edward Stasky passed away November 22, 2017. A well-known Bay Area realtor for over thirty years, John loved to travel and was an avid collector of Southwestern art.
Born in Bayside, NY, on December 27, 1942, John moved to California and worked as an accountant with a pharmaceutical company after graduating from college. He soon became interested in real estate and established his own real estate office, Stasky & Co., in Berkeley.
John is survived by sisters Catherine T. McBride and Patricia S. Lynch, and his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Nicholas J. and Theresa B. Stasky, brother Joseph N. Stasky, and partners Jimmie Lee Currier and Thomas Weiss.
There will be a memorial and burial service on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11AM at the Sunset View Cemetery and Mortuary, 101 Colusa Avenue, El Cerrito, CA 94530. A reception will follow for friends and family. For those interested in attending, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
